Our People

Dick McGann
has held a variety of senior management positions in and been consulting to the insurance industry for over twenty five years. Mr. McGann has served as a systems director for Great American Insurance Company, Vice President of MIS for Colonial Penn Insurance Group and President of McM Information Services Inc., an insurance technology services company. He has also served as Senior Vice President/Operations for Occidental Life, Peninsular Life and Atlantic Southern Life. Mr. McGann has been a consultant specializing in insurance technology and operations for the past 13 years.

Charles Schaefer has more than twenty five years experience in the management, development, implementation, marketing and operation of computer based information systems for the financial services industry. Mr. Schaefer leads management consulting services, by providing business planning services, aligning information technology to business objectives as well as identifying opportunities to use information technology as a competitive resource to clients. CTS employs business information planning methodology, and selected consulting services to improve organizational effectiveness, business and technical processes, and the effectiveness of information management resources.

Doug Platt has been a consultant for over twenty years. Mr. Platt’s career began as a system engineer working at major insurance accounts for EDS. Doug has been a CIO at a P&C carrier implementing policy administration software. Doug has performed numerous engagements primarily focused at improving business process and system support.

Greg Vlazny, Greg Vlazny, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI, PMP, has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, including business unit leadership and institutional sales. He has led product development implementation teams directing resources, providing product expertise and training across insurance company operations and delivering new products to the marketplace on schedule and within budget.

Bill Bynum is a management and consulting professional with extensive experience as a proven, flexible leader. Has worked on a wide range of efforts to define strategies directed towards achieving business goals. Mr. Bynum has specialized in information technology and offshore outsourcing and has worked to build solutions for business areas including life insurance, investments, property casualty insurance, and healthcare services.

Dan Patsey is a hands-on technology executive in the integrated financial services industry with a proven record for results. Key strengths include problem solving, strategic thinking, consensus building, communications, and relating technology to business. Mr. Patsey has 10+ years consulting experience in the areas of business and technology strategy and enterprise architecture development, 25+ years varied technical experience and 15+years management experience.
